Every now and then a ski comes along that hits the reset button, the 2012-2013 Cham 107 from Dynastar is just that ski. I recently had the opportunity to try the Cham at the SIA On Snow Demo at Winter Park and it's a game changer. Using a 5 Point Sidecut the Dynastar Cham has a similar profile to the Armada JJ and Rossignol S7 but unlike those revolutionary ski designs the Dynastar Cham features a distinct pintail design which I think sets it apart from its predecessors. The Cham is rockered in the front with some camber underfoot and a flat pintail in the rear. The "Levitation Profile" of the Cham 107 was not just marketing hype at 107 mm underfoot the Cham floated better than some of the fatter skis I tried over the course of the two day event and I can only imagine the ride of its fatter brother the Cham 127! Incredibly stable at high speed yet very nimble and responsive even at slow speeds the Cham proved to be my favorite ski out of an impressive line-up of skis coming out next year. This is the ski that the Salomon BBR wishes it was. Go to a Dynastar dealer and buy this ski, you won't be disappointed.

I honestly couldn't find anything about the Dynastar Cham 107 that I didn't like, except for the fact that I don't have a pair and I'll have to wait till next season to ski on a pair again.

I really want to know your oppinion. Should I wait for the Cham 107 or shoul I buy Rossignol Super 7? What do you think?

It's hard for me to tell someone not to buy the Super 7, my personal ski is the S7 and I demoed the 195 cm at the SIA show and it was an incredible ski. Stable, fast, floats like a dream, you would not be disappointed. However the Cham 107 is the ski that I want for next season, it's a game changer.
