The Quiksilver Disasteroid pants are very warm. No matter what the temperature was (I live in Jackson Hole Wyoming) I only wore my boxers underneath and was rarely cold. The waterproofing was fairly good, in average snow conditions they would stay dry only in rain and wet snow did they get wet.
Dislikes
The Quiksilver Disasteroid pants are on the slim side of fitting and I generally like baggy cut clothes. My pair got really dirty and the stains wouldn’t wash out. There isn’t enough vents so on hot days I got pretty sweaty. The back pockets don’t stay shut so I would not recommend putting anything important in them.
