New in 2012, Black Diamond designed the women's element to handle everything from groomers to powder and for both on and off piste. As rocker with underfoot camber and a deep sidecut, it plays across the conditions, floating through crud and bumps. I tried it with both an alpine and tele binding and preferred the tele. The more power I gave it, the more the ski returned.

Shorter turns and slower speeds didn't have the snap I would expect from a rocker/cambered ski, but I'd certainly give it a try to see if it fits your style. Great ski overall.
