General Comments/Likes

Surface Skis has come up with some radical new designs for the upcoming season. If you’re interested in the new rockered technology skis then definitely check out Surface Skis new products. The Surface Live Life was an immensely fun big mountain/powder ski. It’s pronounced early rise tip and tail gave it fantastic flotation in the pow and great busting power in the crud, but it also transitioned well onto the groomers and packed powder. Easy and fun to spin, check out these new “upstarts” when you get a chance.

Dislikes

I didn’t get to ski the Live Life on a lot of hardpack or ice, but with a 120 mm waist I think I want something a little tighter underfoot if I was skiing New England black ice.
