General Comments/Likes

The Smith Variant Brim is a fantasic helmet. It is warm, yet has a ton of vents that are easy to open and close. It has a great snug fit and comfy chin strap. The goggle snap is easy to open and close, even with mittens on. The skull candy zip in is an awesome addition for 2010/2011 – super easy to use and you can pull the speakers to use for other things (such as putting them in my beanie for X-country skiing).

Dislikes

I’ve seen helmets with better systems for adjusting fit (a dial rather than the thumb squeeze method used in this helmet). The fit adjustment still works well – i’d just prefer to turn a dial.
