General Comments/Likes

In my 42 seasons of skiing this was my favorite ski pole out of every brand and make that I’ve ever tried. Fantastic swing weight and the trigger strap keeps the pole in the perfect sweet spot. I always thought that a pole, is a pole, is a pole until I demoed the Viper at the 2000 WWSRA On Mountain Demo. This pole actually improved my skiing posture. I cannot go back to 20th century technology, I refuse to use a pole with a standard strap, I can’t, I won’t

Dislikes

The one problem with the trigger system was if you got snow packed into the trigger-grip then you couldn’t insert the yellow tap into the grip. I always managed to clear the opening and found this to be a minor inconvenience.
